What is Newton FoamStop Backing Rod?

Newton FoamStop is a compressible foam backing rod that is used to ensure that the FlexProof 106 is applied at the correct depth within the construction or movement joint.

The diameter of the FoamStop selected should be approximately 150% of the width of the joint. This is a 20mm diameter FoamStop backing rod for movement joints – suitable for joints of 12mm, 13mm, 14mm and 15mm wide.
