Stopaq Repair Filler – 2kg Bag

Stopaq Repair Filler is a unique, low-temperature and cold-applied malleable compound. It is intended for filling of static cracks, voids, joints, crevices and levelling of irregular surfaces to form a barrier against water ingress. It adheres on dry and wet surfaces of concrete, brick, metal and various other types of substrates and requires only minimum surface preparation.

Application Examples:

• Voids and crevices: For filling of voids and crevices in concrete and brick in atmospheric or submerged situations to avoid further water ingress.
• Joints and seams: For filling of static joints and seams in concrete walls and floors in atmospheric or submerged situations to avoid further water ingress.

Storage:

Store indoor, clean and dry, away from direct sunlight in a cool place below +30 °C [86 °F]. Unlimited shelf life.

Surface Preparation:

The surface must be clean and free from oil, grease, dust, scale, biological growth and any other foreign matter. There is no need for the surface to be dry. The substrate temperature should preferably be between +5 and + 35 °C [41 and 95 °F].

Product Conditions:

Stopaq® Repair Filler should be kept dry before application starts. The product temperature should preferably be above +5 °C [41 °F] for the ease of application.

Application:

Apply lumps of Stopaq® Repair Filler by hand with pressure and avoid water and air entrapment. To promote adhesion on wet substrates it is advised to apply a thin film of Stopaq® Repair Filler by rubbing prior to filling and levelling. Make sure that all surfaces are covered with a layer of at least 5 mm thickness. After filling the surface should be smooth.

Mechanical Protection:

Stopaq® Repair Filler must be protected against mechanical forces like impact and indentation. The applied mechanical protective materials must overlap the boundaries of applied Stopaq® Repair Filler.
