ARBO Arbosil ONE Sealing Silicone – 310ml Black

Arbosil ONE Black 310ml is a low‑modulus, one‑part neutral‑cure alkoxy silicone sealant that cures when it contacts moisture in the air. As a result, it forms a highly elastic silicone rubber and delivers reliable performance across a wide range of construction environments. Application Instructions

Joint Preparation

Clean and dry all joint surfaces before applying the sealant. Remove contamination and degrease the surfaces using the appropriate ARBO® Cleaner. Moreover, ARBO® Primer 2650 works effectively on porous surfaces such as masonry. You may also need ARBO® Primer on other substrates; however, you should consult ARBO® Technical Services for specific primer advice.

Joint Backing

Where required, insert oversized closed‑cell, cross‑linked polyethylene foam. Follow BS 8000‑16:1997 + A1:2010 for all preparation, priming and sealant application to maintain compliance and ensure long‑term performance.

Storage Life

Arbosil ONE offers a 12‑month storage life when you keep it in its original, unopened packaging. Additionally, store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to maintain product integrity.

Restrictions of Arbosil One

Arbosil ONE does not allow for overpainting. Furthermore, it does not suit stone, use ARBOSIL XL 1099S instead. Additionally, avoid using it with materials such as bitumen asphalt, neoprene or certain organic compounds, as these materials may cause compatibility issues.

Packaging

Each box contains 25 x 310ml or 380ml polyethylene cartridges. In addition, each box includes polyethylene nozzles for convenient application.
