Trowel-grade sodium bentonite mastic. BENTOSEAL® is trowel-grade, sodium bentonite/butyl-rubber based mastic designed for a variety of surface preparation and waterproof detailing work with select CETCO waterproofing membranes. BENTOSEAL® swells upon contact with water to seal against water intrusion. With the consistency of thick grease, BENTOSEAL® is easy to apply and bonds to most substrate materials. 

Applications: 

BENTOSEAL® is an below-ground waterproofing accessory product designed for the following uses: 

  • Fillet material at horizontal and vertical inside corners 
  • Flashing material around drains, mechanical and electrical penetrations, curbs and parapets 
  • Sealing material at waterproofing terminations below-ground 
  • Repair material for small concrete substrate surface defects prior to waterproofing membrane installation 
  • BENTOSEAL® is formulated for use on structural concrete, masonry, and most metal surfaces. Do not use BENTOSEAL® on insulated foam concrete forming systems. Use in applications with proper confinement only. Backfill soils should be compacted to a 85% Modified Proctor density. BENTOSEAL® is not an expansion joint sealant.

Delivery Timescales

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.

Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details).

Delivery Communications

We aim to dispatch and deliver all our products within their specified time frames. You will get notified by BaseTec via email when your products have been dispatched. This will include details of your order and the expected delivery time. BaseTec will contact you via email or phone if there are any delays in picking your order or after dispatch.

If any products are out of stock or unavailable at the time of ordering, the BaseTec team will contact you by phone or email to discuss your options.
