Denso™ Anti-Slip Tape – Clear- 50mm x 18m (Box of 6) helps reduce the risk of slips at home and in workplaces. Denso Anti-Slip Tape uses a self-adhesive PVC tape coated on one surface with a layer of acrylic adhesive. The upper surface has a layer of aluminium oxide particles, while a plastic film interleaving protects the adhesive surface before installers discard it during application. The tape comes in roll form.

The tape acts as a slip-resistant tape for steps, pathways and other suitable slippery surfaces. It can be used indoors or outdoors, bonds to most surfaces, and comes in black, yellow, clear and hazard colours. Always check surface suitability and application guidance before use.

Composition

Uses

Denso Anti-Slip Tape is a self-adhesive tape designed for both indoor and outdoor use on smooth surfaces. The tape can be applied by hand to steps, paths, patios, garage floors and decking. 

Service Temperature: maximum +80°C

Characteristics

Denso Anti-Slip Tape has the following characteristics:

• VOC free,
• easy to apply, and
• suitable to service up to +110°C.

Application

Because site conditions can vary, see Instructions for Use for additional details. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from any contamination or greasy residues. Also, seal all porous surfaces before application using a good quality primer, then allow the primer to dry.

Application Temperature: +10°C to +45°C

Application Limitations

The tape suits smooth surfaces only. It is not suitable for grooved decking because the tape must stay in full contact with the application surface across its complete width, with no gaps or voids.

Availability

Denso Anti-Slip Tape comes in Black, Yellow, Clear and Hazard, in 3 m or 18 m roll length and 50 mm roll width.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place in the original packaging. Shelf life is between 12 and 24 months.

Please avoid or minimise waste wherever possible. Also, do not discard waste material, including packaging, in the surrounding environment. Follow all relevant legislation for disposal.

Note

Denso Anti-Slip Tape is not suitable for industrial applications or continuous immersion and cannot be overpainted. To ensure continued effectiveness, carry out periodic inspections and re-apply strips of new tape if wear, damage, disbonding or weathering affects the tape.
