Denso™ Flashing Tape Primer 1 Litre (Box of 9)

Denso™ Flashing Tape Primer 1 Litre (Box of 9) is a fast-drying primer for the preparation of surfaces. A cold-applied aluminium foil coated with a bituminous adhesive and a plastic interleaving for cleaner handling and easier release. The aluminium/polyester laminate has a grey weatherproof lacquer finish that resembles lead.

Composition

Denso Flashing Tape Primer is comprised of oxidised bitumen in aromatic hydrocarbon solvent.

Denso Flashing Tape Primer is used as surface preparation to maintain surface cleanliness prior to the application of Denso Flashing Tape.

Characteristics

Denso Flashing Tape Primer is: 

• fast drying, 
• easy to apply, and 
• improves cathodic disbondment resistance.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from rust, scale and non-adherent coatings.  Preferably, the area will be grit blasted or well wire brushed.

Application

See Instructions for use for additional detail. Apply Denso Flashing Tape Primer evenly over the surface using a brush. 

Application temperatures: 0°C to 50°C.

Cleaning Solvent

Denso Flashing Tape Primer may be cleaned with white spirit.

Store all components upright in original packaging in a cool and dry place. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames.
