Denso™ Hi-Tack Primer – 5 Litre

Composition

Denso™ Hi-Tack Primer – 5 Litre is comprised of high melting  point petrolatum in hydrocarbon solvent supplied as  a semi-solid paste for brush application.

Denso Hi-Tack Primer is a tacky adhesive primer for use with Denso petrolatum tapes, particularly where tapes are applied longitudinally or across flat areas. It can prime steel or concrete substrates and forms part of Denso Steelcoat Systems. Denso describes it as a semi-solid paste for brush application, with an application temperature of 0°C to +55°C. Uses

Denso Hi-Tack Primer is a tacky, adhesive primer  for use with the Denso petrolatum tapes – particularly where these are applied longitudinally  or on flat areas. It is a component of the Denso Steelcoat 100 System. 

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from rust,  scale and non-adherent coatings. Rusted areas  should be mechanically cleaned to St2. Surfaces  may be damp, but must not have droplets or a  continuous film of water.

Application

See Instructions for Use for further details. Apply Denso Hi-Tack Primer evenly over the surface at a wet film thickness (WFT) of 200 µm. Recommended dry film thickness (DFT) is 140 µm. Application temperature: 0°C To +55°C.

5 L, 25 L and 200 L drums

Storage conditions

Store all components upright in original packaging  in a cool, dry, area. Keep away from heat, sparks  and open flames.
