Densoclad™ 50 – 100mm x 12m, Box of 8 – is a medium-duty corrosion protection tape for buried or immersed pipes and fittings.

The extremely tough PVC backing, combined with a polymer bitumen adhesive layer, helps provide protection and strong resistance to damage from impact, poor backfill or aggressive ground conditions. It suits machine or hand application, while the removable interleaving protects the compound and installers dispose of it during application.

Composition

Densoclad 50 consists of a thick polymer-modified bitumen compound laminated to a robust PVC backing. The compound layer is protected by an interleaving material, which is wider than the tape and is removed during application.

Uses

This medium-duty tape is specifically engineered to protect small to medium diameter pipes, welded joints, bends, and fittings from corrosion when buried or immersed. Its tough yet conformable PVC backing ensures excellent resistance to damage during handling and backfilling.
