Densoclad™ 50 – 150mm x 12m, Box of 12 – is a medium-duty corrosion protection tape for buried or immersed pipes and fittings.

The extremely tough PVC backing, combined with a polymer bitumen adhesive layer, helps provide protection and strong resistance to damage from impact, poor backfill or aggressive ground conditions. It suits machine or hand application, while the removable interleaving protects the compound and installers dispose of it during application.

Composition

Densoclad 50 is comprised of a thick polymer modified bitumen compound laminated to a tough PVC backing. The compound layer is protected by an interleaving, which is wider than the tape and is removed during application.

Uses

Densoclad 50 is a medium duty tape designed to protect buried or immersed, small to medium diameter pipes, welded joints, bends and fittings from corrosion. The tough yet conformable PVC backing provides excellent resistance to damage during handling and backfilling.
