Densoclad™ 50 – 50mm x 12m, Box of 12 – is a medium-duty corrosion protection tape for buried or immersed pipes and fittings.

The extremely tough PVC backing, combined with a polymer bitumen adhesive layer, helps provide protection and strong resistance to damage from impact, poor backfill or aggressive ground conditions. It suits machine or hand application, while the removable interleaving protects the compound and installers dispose of it during application.

Composition

Densoclad 50 uses a thick polymer-modified bitumen compound laminated to a robust PVC backing. An interleaving material protects the compound layer, sits wider than the tape and installers remove it during application.

This medium-duty tape helps protect small to medium diameter pipes, welded joints, bends and fittings from corrosion when buried or immersed. Also, the durable yet flexible PVC backing helps resist damage during handling and backfilling.
