Newton CDM BaseDrain T-Piece Drainage Channel Junction

The Newton CDM BaseDrain T-Piece Drainage Channel Junction is a preformed T for a 90-degree connection to FloorDrain from BaseDrain and for draining through engineering brick as an alternative to open perpendicular joints. It is a component of the BaseDrain drainage system within the Newton CDM ‘Type C’ system for cavity drain waterproofing. 

The drainage system comprises of a range of BaseDrain and FloorDrain products (listed below) that are used to create a continuous drainage conduit that collectively receives water ingressing at weaknesses within the structure. The water is then discharged to a Newton Sump and Pump System for safe removal from the below-ground area.

Components and Applications:

• Newton CDM BaseDrain Drainage Channels – 2-metre lengths of drainage conduit for the perimeter of the area to be waterproofed, that is situated at the base of the wall membrane. 
• Newton CDM FloorDrain – 2-metre lengths of drainage conduit for collection of water at the construction joint to the floor and to replace BaseDrain at door thresholds. FloorDrain is also used to connect the perimeter BaseDrain to the sump chamber. 
• Newton CDM BaseDrain Corner – Formed 90 degree corner for connecting lengths of BaseDrain or FloorDrain 
• Newton CDM BaseDrain Connector – For neatly connecting consecutive BaseDrain or FloorDrain pieces. 
• Newton CDM BaseDrain T-Piece Drainage Channel Junction – Formed T-piece for a 90 degree connection to the FloorDrain from the BaseDrain. 
• Newton CDM BaseDrain Adaptor – For connecting drainage channels to 63mm pipe into the sump chamber. 
• Newton CDM BaseDrain Inspection Port Kit – Includes inspection ports, end caps and ducting for easy inspection and maintenance access to the drainage system at future service intervals 
• Newton CDM BaseDrain Inspection Port 90° Bend – A preformed bend designed to fit the inspection port kit and provide access to the BaseDrain drainage conduit for inspections, servicing, and more
