Tremco ME315 Total Protection Tape 60mm Black (12 per box)

Tremco ME315 Total Protection Tape 60mm Black is a special tape with solvent free modified acrylic dispersion adhesive.

Useage/purpose:

Single-sided adhesive tape for interior and exterior use, providing a high performing air and weather tight seal. Tremco ME315 Total Protection Tape is suitable for a wide variety of applications including sealing of sheathing boards, slab edge details and the durable bonding of illbruck vapour barrier and breather membranes. A permanent bond is achieved on all illbruck indoor and outdoor building protection membranes.

Application

• Surfaces must be dry and free of oil, grease, dust and other 
  anti-adhesive components. Bonding to frozen surfaces is 
  not possible. 
• The substrate must offer sufficient load-bearing capacity. 
  On porous or damp substrates or at low temperatures, the 
  use of illbruck Primer (ME901, ME902, ME904 or AT140) 
  is recommended. AT140 is the recommended option for 
  bonding ME315 over joints which have been sealed with 
  silicone based sealants.
• Detach the release paper and place the tape centrally over 
  the joint (e.g. edge of overlapping membrane, or across 
  a panel joint) so that the minimum coverage onto each 
  substrate is 20 mm
• Gradually peel off the release paper and adhere the tape 
  whilst keeping it tension-free and wrinkle-free to the 
  substrate.
• To consolidate the bond, apply firm pressure manually. 
  Use of a seam roller will further improve the adhesion in 
  most applications.
• Do not use the tape below a 10° roof pitch
