Tremco OT015 EDPM Membrane Adhesive 600ml (12 per case)

Tremco OT015 EDPM Membrane Adhesive 600ml (12 per case) is a paste adhesive, made from a blend of synthetic rubber and resin. OT015 is a high tack self-priming adhesive which is used for bonding ME220 EPDM and ME501 Membrane to itself & to typical construction substrates such as aluminium, concrete, metal, zinc plated metal, wood, PVC-U, and other non-porous materials.

This product is supplied as 600ml, 12 per case.

OT015 is a specially formulated high tack adhesive which is used for bonding ME220 Elastomeric EPDM Membrane to itself and to typical construction substrates such as aluminium, metal, zinc plated metal, wood, PVC-U, and other non-porous materials as well as cement particle board and concrete. The resultant connection provides excellent resistance to ageing, temperature changes and is waterproof.

Necessary Tools
Installation requires the use of AA956 sausage gun, cutting 
shears and a stout seam roller.

Preparation

• Always carry out a test to confirm compatibility prior to 
  use, especially on third party waterproofing membranes 
  due to the variety of blended materials which can differ 
  between suppliers. 
• All surfaces must be dry, clean and sound, free from dirt, 
  grease and other contamination.
• It is recommended to degrease the substrate (and membrane if necessary) by using isopropanol, mineral 
  spirits, or a degreaser specified by illbruck. 
• If difficulty in gaining adhesion is experienced, the surface 
  may require priming with a diluted mixture of CT113 
  contact adhesive and AW421 solvent in the ratio of 1:3 
  respectively. 

Coverage
A 600 ml sausage will produce 7 to 8 linear meters of 
adhesive (based on a bead width of approx. 10 mm).

Cleaning
Clean tools and any uncured adhesive with AW421 High Strength Cleaner. Cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically. Applicators should also wear gloves and goggles
