Tremco SX220 Fast Setting Self-Levelling Compound – 20kg

Tremco SX220 Fast Setting Self-Levelling Compound is a fast-setting cement-based smoothing product. It is ideal for use in domestic and light commercial environments as an underlayment, prior to application of carpet, wood and vinyl flooring.

This product is supplied as a 20kg bag.

Tremco SX220 Fast Setting Self-Levelling Compound benefits:

– It is easy to mix and apply and a smooth surface is produced

Application:
Tremco SX220 should be mechanically mixed in single units at the ratio of 20 kg powder to 3.6 to 3.8 litres of water. Do not add extra water because long term performance may be impaired. Unsuitable to be pump applied.  A 65 mm by 40 mm flow ring should be filled with pre-mixed SX220. Using a flow chart, a spread ratio of between 230 mm and 260 mm should be obtained. After applying the material onto the primed floor, simply use a hand trowel to spread. Maximum application thickness is 10 mm on primed sound porous substrates. Maximum application thickness of 6 mm on to CS100 epoxy primer

Protection on Completion
Ensure the screed is not subject to draughts during the first 6 hours of curing as this may lead to cracking and crazing. Tape up doorways with polythene to prevent air movement. Prevent contamination by following trades (e.g. plastering), including water spillage

Moisture Testing:
(in accordance with British Standards 8203)
Suitable for application on substrats with <75 % RH

Cleaning:
Immediately after use all tools and equipment should be cleaned with water. Cured material can be removed mechanicall or by acid etching.
