Visqueen DPM is manufactured from a minimum of 90% recycled polyethylene suitable for use as a Type “A” damp proof membrane as defined by BS EN 13967: 2012. It is black or blue in colour, available in 250mu, 300mu and 500mu thicknesses and in convenient multi folded rolls.
Visqueen DPM is suitable for use below concrete floors in accordance with clause 11 of CP 102:1973, where there may be capillary rise of moisture but not where it may be subject to hydrostatic pressure.
When used in accordance with the BBA certificate and the relevant clauses of CP102: 1973 in concrete floors not subject to hydrostatic pressure, Visqueen Damp Proof Membranes form an effective barrier to the passage of moisture from the ground.

Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.
Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details).
Delivery Communications
We aim to dispatch and deliver all our products within their specified time frames. You will get notified by BaseTec via email when your products have been dispatched. This will include details of your order and the expected delivery time. BaseTec will contact you via email or phone if there are any delays in picking your order or after dispatch.
If any products are out of stock or unavailable at the time of ordering, the BaseTec team will contact you by phone or email to discuss your options.
