Visqueen IGW Admix – 6 Bags in 1 Container

Visqueen IGW Admix is a crystalline waterproofing admixture powder consisting of a blend of specially selected chemicals. The Admix is suitable for CEM I (100% cement content) and CEM II (up to 35% cement replacement) mixes.

When combined with ready mix concrete at batching plant, it produces a crystalline reaction which enhances water resistance and durability of the cured concrete. The product is available in a tub consisting of six 4.1 kg soluble bags and used in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. one 4.1kg bag for each 1m³ of concrete.

Visqueen IGW Admix is used to provide Type B watertight concrete protection in accordance with BS8102:2022. Typically the product is used in reinforced concrete basement walls and floors.

When used as a combined system in accordance with BS8102, the Type B watertight concrete is used in conjunction with a Type A barrier membrane such as Visqueen Pre Applied Membrane and/or a Type C cavity drain system such as Visqueen V8 and V20 Cavity Drain System.
