The Visqueen Radon Sump is required when full radon protection has been identified. The sump can be used in solid ground floor concrete slab applications and ventilated sub floor void applications.
Depending on the permeability of the soil type, the sump can draw the harmful radon gas from a radius distance of approximately 7m i.e. providing protection to an area of approximately 150m².
In solid ground floor concrete slab applications, the sump should be positioned directly beneath the Visqueen radon membrane.
The Visqueen Radon Sump is a pre-fabricated sump unit manufactured from moulded black ABS plastic. The unit has four equidistant perimeter outlet ports, along with a central outlet port for vertical pipework installation.
The sump unit dimensions are 700mm x 700mm x 250mm high.

Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.
Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details).
Delivery Communications
We aim to dispatch and deliver all our products within their specified time frames. You will get notified by BaseTec via email when your products have been dispatched. This will include details of your order and the expected delivery time. BaseTec will contact you via email or phone if there are any delays in picking your order or after dispatch.
If any products are out of stock or unavailable at the time of ordering, the BaseTec team will contact you by phone or email to discuss your options.
