40m2 Newtonite Non-Meshed Membrane – Damp Proofing Pack

The 40m2 Newtonite non-meshed membrane damp proofing pack is a complete damp proofing kit. This kit includes all of the necessary damp proofing products, fixings, tapes and tools to install 40m2 of Newtonite damp proofing membrane.

Newton Newtonite is a high-quality, 2m x 20m damp proof membrane used as an alternative where a meshed surface is not required. Quick to apply, rot-proof and easy to use, Newtonite is typically used where the wall finish to the damp-proof membrane is timber battens, a dry-lining frame, or block wall.

1 x SDS+ Drill Bit – 10mm x 160mm for CDM MultiPlugs

2 x Newton CDM MultiPlug with Sealing Washer – 10mm x 60mm – Bag of 100

1 x Newton CDM OverTape – 100mm x 20m

1 x Newtonite Back Box Liner – Single Pattress Box

1 x Newtonite Back Box Liner – Double Pattress Box

Typical Applications

• Newton Newtonite is typically used where the wall finish to the damp-proof membrane is timber battens, a dry-lining frame or block wall
• Newton Newtonite is 0.5mm thick and has a pattern of raised 3mm studs. The studs face the wall and create air channels that allow for vapour equalisation to take place between the membrane and the wall
• Newton Newtonite is light, clean and easy to handle. It can be cut with a sharp knife, scissors or shears
• The membrane is inert and is highly resistant to water, alkalis, saline solutions and organic acids, and it is not affected by minerals. It is also resistant to bacteria, fungi and other small organisms

Newton Newtonite is guaranteed against deterioration for 30 years, and has a life expectancy of at least 50 years (DIN 9001:2000).
