The Newton CDM MultiPlug is a high-quality fixing plug for securing Newton CDM System membranes to the wall and for providing a fixing point for both Helifix Wall Ties and 5mm self-tapping screws for the fixing of battens or other dry-lining systems.
The CDM MultiPlug has been engineered to give a better fix in questionable substrate, and have the added benefit of a rubber sealing washer supplied with the plug. If the fix is not as good as hoped, Expansion Pins can also be purchased as a separate item – these are inserted into the plug, expanding its circumference by nearly 2mm to tighten the plug into the substrate.
The CDM MultiPlug requires a 10mm drilled hole for insertion. For vaulted ceilings use either the CDM MultiPlug and replace the rubber sealing grommet with a bead of CDM Rope, or use the CDM NuSeal Plug with a bead of CDM Rope.
Compared to the Newton CDM Brick Plug, the CDM MultiPlug is manufactured from higher quality plastic that is more durable and therefore more resistant to breakages when hammered into the substrate.

Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.
Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details).
Delivery Communications
We aim to dispatch and deliver all our products within their specified time frames. You will get notified by BaseTec via email when your products have been dispatched. This will include details of your order and the expected delivery time. BaseTec will contact you via email or phone if there are any delays in picking your order or after dispatch.
If any products are out of stock or unavailable at the time of ordering, the BaseTec team will contact you by phone or email to discuss your options.
