Denso™ Flashing Tape 450mm x 10m is a cold-applied, self-adhesive aluminium-backed flashing in tape form. It uses aluminium foil coated with a bituminous adhesive and a plastic interleaving for cleaner handling and easier release. Also, the aluminium/polyester laminate has a grey weatherproof lacquer finish that resembles lead.
The tape uses a high-melting-point polymer bitumen adhesive laminated to an aluminium/polyester laminate with a grey weatherproof lacquer finish. In addition, a release-coated plastic film protects the adhesive surface, and installers discard it during use.
Denso recommends using the tape with Denso Flashing Tape Primer.

Application
Because site conditions can vary, see Instructions for Use for additional detail.
Recommended primer: Denso Flashing Tape Primer
Application Temperature: +5°C to +40°C
Application Limitations

Denso Flashing Tape comes in 10 metre rolls.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool and dry place in the original packaging.
Waste material
Please avoid or minimise waste wherever possible. Also, do not discard waste material, including packaging, in the surrounding environment. Follow all relevant legislation for disposal.
Note: Overpainting the flashing requires a good quality water-based exterior paint. In addition, the use of other sealants in conjunction with the flashing tape is not necessary. Silicone-based sealants and solvent-based paints are not normally suitable for use in contact with the adhesive compound.
