Denso™ Skid Resistant Overbanding Tape 30mm x 10m (Box of 10) is a cold-applied, skid-resistant bituminous tape for sealing pavement cracks. Once applied, the tape has a skid-resistant surface which independent testing has shown to exceed the minimum skid resistance value for overbanding materials specified by the Department for Transport (UK). Also, it suits hand or machine application. In addition, Denso Skid Resistant Overbanding Tape incorporates reused materials and uses recycled packaging to help reduce environmental impact. Composition

Denso Skid Resistant Overbanding Tape 30mm x 10m (Box of 10) uses a thick, polymer-modified bituminous adhesive layer with a rubber-based backing in tape form and a disposable release film.

Uses

Denso Skid Resistant Overbanding Tape supports surface sealing of cracks or failed reinstatement joints up to 5 mm wide in road pavements on secondary roads. Therefore, it may suit maintenance work where surface sealing and skid resistance are both required.

Characteristics

In particular, Denso Skid Resistant Overbanding Tape has the following characteristics:

• has excellent resistance to water, acids, alkalis and salts,
• helps prevent further cracking and spalling of the road surface, and
• has a skid-resistant surface.

Application

Because site conditions can vary, see Instructions for Use for details. Denso Skid Resistant Overbanding Tape suits both hand and machine application. For machine application, Denso recommends the Denso Roller 75 applicator. With this in mind, use Densoband Primer where recommended. Application Temperature: +8°C to +45°C.

Denso Skid Resistant Overbanding Tape comes in 10 m lengths with a 30 mm or 40 mm width. In addition, rolls per carton are listed below: 30 mm width – 10 rolls 40 mm width – 8 rolls
