Newton FlexProof 106 Primer is a polyurethane-based primer used to prime substrates prior to the application of FlexProof 106 products. Supplied in a 1kg tin.

Newton FlexProof 106 Primer is a polyurethane-based primer that improves the adhesion of Newton FlexProof 106 to porous substrates, and should always be used when concrete has been ground.

Uses For the sealing of, and to take the suction out of dry porous surfaces
Recommended when The product is used within movement joints

If the concrete is slightly dusting, priming will stabilise the structure

If, after grinding back, the substrate is still slightly contaminated, priming will prevent discolouration passing through the FlexProof 106

Where the product is to resist negative water pressure

Where the product is applied onto or between HydroCoat 107F
Limitations Do not apply at temperatures lower than +1°C or higher than +35°C

Do not apply over frozen substrate or over ice

Not suitable as a vehicle or pedestrian traffic surface

When applied over joints, do not apply too much product. Apply to a maximum thickness of 2.5 mm

Storage Store in dry conditions between 5 and +25°C. Do not expose to freezing conditions, do not freeze
Shelf life 12 months when stored in original, unopened containers in accordance with manufacturers instructions

Delivery Timescales

We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.

Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details).

Delivery Communications

We aim to dispatch and deliver all our products within their specified time frames. You will get notified by BaseTec via email when your products have been dispatched. This will include details of your order and the expected delivery time. BaseTec will contact you via email or phone if there are any delays in picking your order or after dispatch.

If any products are out of stock or unavailable at the time of ordering, the BaseTec team will contact you by phone or email to discuss your options.
