Newton Leakplug Polyurethane sealant for the sealing of water infiltration or seepage in electrical lines, pipes, cable ducts, etc. Properties Ready-to-use polyurethane system.
Application
- Put on the gloves, take the can and bottle out of the bag.
- Pour the entire contents of the catalyst (small bottle) into the metal can that contains the resin.
- Close the can and mix the two fluids thoroughly by shaking it well.
- Pour the entire contents of the metal can onto the polyester fibres in the plastic bag. Close the bag well.
- Knead the bag until all the resin is mixed with the polyester fibres.
- Remove the wad from the bag and immerse it in water to activate the resin.
- Immediately push the wad into the tube opening and seal it. The water causes the Newton Leakplug to swell, creating a seal.
Consumption
- A single pack can seal a tube of 0 110 mm and a length of 600 mm.

Delivery Timescales
We will endeavour to deliver all orders within 1-3 working days (subject to geographical restrictions). Please note, where delivery lead-times for individual orders may be subject to change, we will keep you informed directly by phone or email within 24 hours of your order being placed.
Deliveries will not be made on UK bank holidays, and in such cases will fall on the next working day.
Standard delivery hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to accept the delivery when it is attempted, then a failed delivery charge will be applied (see the Delivery page for full details).
Delivery Communications
We aim to dispatch and deliver all our products within their specified time frames. You will get notified by BaseTec via email when your products have been dispatched. This will include details of your order and the expected delivery time. BaseTec will contact you via email or phone if there are any delays in picking your order or after dispatch.
If any products are out of stock or unavailable at the time of ordering, the BaseTec team will contact you by phone or email to discuss your options.
